The purpose of Riverside Academy is simple. It exists to develop young people (like yourself) personally, practically and spiritually, drawing you into a deeper, more mature relationship with God.

During the year, our interns grow as individuals, learning to understand and develop their God-given gifts in serving and leading the church and the wider community. Over the course of the Academy year, you will have the unique opportunity to experience the whole spectrum of the ministry here at Riverside, from worship to community outreach, from youth work to preaching, and from personal study to large-scale evangelism.

You will have the chance to work with a range of talented and experienced individuals both at Riverside and in other churches, and will participate and share fully in the life of a thriving and growing church community.

You will develop skills, grow in confidence, and gain vital experience that will continue to serve you in whatever direction God takes you next.

This is a chance for you to devote a year to serving the church and community of Exeter, growing into
the person you were designed to be, and most importantly, serving God.
