Room for Everyone!

Hello and thank you for taking the time to enquire about our fantastic conference facilities.

Different cross-sections of the community use the facilities here at Riverside e.g. Charities, private businesses, Devon County Council, Devon Partnership Trust and all of them know they can be assured of a good variety and quality of rooms, freshly prepared food and drink catering for all dietary needs and a friendly and courteous service.

Our Conference rooms and Hospitality packages are detailed below.

Mini Conference Rooms 1 & 2

These rooms are identical in dimensions and are ideally located as breakout rooms or for smaller meetings.
Facilities for up to 20 people
£55 for half day session £90 for day session

Swanview

Swanview is ideally suited for smaller conference and meetings.
Facilities for up to 40 people
£70 for half day session £115 for day session

The Fish Tank

Facilities for up to 45 people
£75 for half day session £130 for day session

Riverview

Riverview is our most popular conference space. It is adjacent to the Main auditorium and has stunning views of the city and River Exe.
It is ideal as either a conference room or as a hospitality and refreshment area.
Facilities for up to 80 people
£90 for half day session £145 for day session

Main Auditorium

This is our largest conference space.
Facilities for up to 250 people
£175 for half day session £285 for day session

When hiring the Main Auditorium we have many facilities including hearing loop, air conditioning, full lighting rig, projection and sound. A technician can be hired for the day – please indicate your need for this when booking.

Top floor package

(which includes exclusive use of the Main Auditorium, Riverview and the Landing area)
£180 for half session £355 for day session

Most rooms can be set up in a variety of formats such as boardroom, horseshoe, cluster, theatre – whatever suits your event. Please indicate your preference when booking, a session, day or evening basis

Room prices includes the use of Flipcharts, TV and DVDs, a small stationary pack and bottled water for speakers.

Water coolers are available on the ground and top floors; all rooms are within easy reach of bathroom facilities and the lift.

Parking

There is limited parking around the Riverside building itself. There are 2 car parks available in Okehampton Street itself; if your event starts after 9.30am though we would recommend you use our parking plan to locate another place to park.

St Thomas Station is located nearby and buses from the city centre run very frequently (A, F1, F2, C, E).

Hospitality packages

Rosie Bartlett is our Hospitality Manager and she and her team work hard to produce excellent food and drink that cater for all needs.

Bronze/Bronze extra Buffet - £6.50 plus VAT per person

Silver Buffet - £8.30 plus VAT per person

Gold Buffet - £12.50 plus VAT per person

Tea / Coffee - 90p plus VAT per person

Tea / Coffee with biscuit platter - £1.10 plus VAT per person
Tea / Coffee with deluxe biscuit platter - £1.30 plus VAT per person
Fruit Juice 85p plus VAT per person
Fruit Squash 55p plus VAT per person
Seasonal fruit bowl (serves 10 people) £15.00 plus VAT
Seasonal fruit platter (serves 10 people) £20.00 plus VAT

Riverside Oasis

At Riverside on a daily basis we have our Oasis café open from 10am – 2pm. Our team welcome each day many regulars and new faces too, popping in for a coffee, homemade cake and fresh sandwiches, paninis and seasonal specials.
It’s a great place to meet up with people with know and with people you don’t yet know!
