Dave and Colette are the Youth Pastors here at Riverside. That means that they’re responsible for everything that happens with everyone between Y7 and Y13, and that means that they get to do lot of very cool, very fun stuff every day of the week. Abbey has spent the last two years working with us as an intern (specialising in pastoral skills), and is part of our deeper team. She’s great at getting alongside our young people and building them up, and has something positive to say about everyone. |

Adam is joining us this year as part of the x:celerate team. He’s a keen footballer and all-round sportsman, which should make him well-suited for everything that a Friday night can throw at him. | |
Adam has been involved in x:celerate for longer than most – he joined us back in the day as a youth, and has since moved on to the team, where he brings his unique brand of enthusiasm into everything that he does. |

Over the last year or so, Carolyn has proved to be a master of both the artistic and the culinary – pancakes, chocolate crispy cakes and peppermint ice to name a few of the most recent. She’s part of the x:celerate team. |

Emma is part of the x:celerate team, and having taken part in everything from junk genius to assault courses, snow survivor to resonate, she’s shown that there’s nothing she can’t take on. |

Gareth is involved with our xplode band (and is also the church’s worship pastor). Just like the stereotype, he’s Welsh and can belt out a tune with the best of them, so he’ll be dropping in to work with the band on a regular basis. |

Helen has found a perfect niche as a creative guru for the x:celerate team – she was responsible for the massive wall art you can see on a Friday night. |

Jonathan works as a teaching assistant, and is a key part of the highly successful Riverside football team (despite being a Sunderland fan), but he still finds time to join us every Friday night for x:celerate, where his enthusiasm and energy have to be seen to be believed! |

Ros is part of our deeper team, and is always happy to get involved with everyone, whether you want to share good news, or need a bit of a pick-me-up when things are tough. Whatever happens, she has a huge smile on her face pretty much continuously. |

Russ (who’s married to Rosie, our Children’s Pastor) is a pillar of the youth team. He’s part of the deeper and x:celerate teams, as well as providing all sorts of technical support to almost everything we do. And he’ll be your friend for life if you slip him the occasional bottle of yazoo chocolate milk… |

Ryan is one of the Riverside worship leaders, and is something of a musical consultant for the xplode band. |
