Dave and Colette are the Youth Pastors here at Riverside. That means that they’re responsible for everything that happens with everyone between Y7 and Y13, and that means that they get to do lot of very cool, very fun stuff every day of the week. Abbey is a second year intern, specialising in pastoral skills and is part of our deeper team. She’s great at getting alongside our young people and building them up, and has something positive to say about everyone. |

Carolyn joined the x:celerate team this year, and has proved to be a master of both the artistic and the culinary – pancakes, chocolate crispy cakes and peppermint ice to name a few of the most recent. |

| Emma has also started with us this year, and is already a fully-fledged part of the x:celerate team, having taken part in everything from junk genius to assault courses, snow survivor to resonate. |  |

Helen has found a perfect niche as a creative guru for the x:celerate team – she was responsible for the massive wall art you can see on a Friday night. |

Joel is part of our intern team, and has taken on particular responsibility for xplode, our very own band. He’s also part of the Riverside worship team, as a guitarist, drummer and worship leader, and frequently pops up at St Peter’s and West Exe as part of our schools team. |

Laura has been part of the youth team for a few years now, and has been involved with deeper for all of that time. She loves working with small groups, helping young people to grow in their relationship with God. |

Jonathan works as a teaching assistant, and is a key part of the highly successful Riverside football team (despite being a Sunderland fan), but he still finds time to join us every Friday night for x:celerate, where his enthusiasm and energy have to be seen to be believed! |

Maggie is part of our Friday x:celerate team, and has taken on the role of transport captain, getting everyone to everywhere they need to be – on time, every time! | |
| Marc is another recent addition to the x:celerate team, and also lends a helping hand at xplode from time to time. He and Rachel have just had their first baby, and we’re all very excited for them! |

Russ (who’s married to Rosie, our Children’s Pastor) is a pillar of the youth team. He’s part of the deeper and x:celerate teams, as well as providing all sorts of technical support to almost everything we do. And he’ll be your friend for life if you slip him the occasional bottle of yazoo chocolate milk… |

Ryan is one of the Riverside worship leaders, and is something of a musical consultant for the xplode band. |
